Respawn on/off toggle

Please add an option to turn off/on monster respawn.
I’d like to take my time and not rush through a level. I’d like to be able to slowly and methodically explore and clear every room.
If this would make clearing a floor somehow too easy, please feel free to reduce xp earned per level with this toggle on.
And of course, for those who don’t like this playstyle, please make it a toggle so it won’t affect those who don’t want it.

I agree that the option to switch off infinite enemy respawns would be a great addition.

Sounds good to me, anything that stops you getting swamped by enemies and slaughtered would be great.

I would like to see this option as well, but I wonder if for play balance reasons the devs prefer to keep enemies spawning in to keep players from clearing out a level and then opening every chest and collecting all the cards/loot?
I have to think that it was a conscience choice to promote a rush to the gate/keyholder style approach as opposed to a more methodical "clear the whole level" one.

Matt F.: Perhaps, but then simply place a cap on gold you can obtain per level when the “No respawn” button is pressed.

Matt F.: The respawn does not help to push you into next level or clear out anything, you can stay at a level and collect point/cards forever killing the respawns. The respawn is just borring if you like to explore any room and any chest. For rushing it is useless as well, as you ignore any enemy expect keyholder, exit guards or special card enemies.
